Hernando County Career Technical Education Programs showcases local school training programs and career academies.
Each program consists of a sequence of 3 or 4 Level 2 or Level 3 courses that provide competency-based applied learning. The coursework contributes to the academic knowledge, higher-order reasoning and problem-solving skills, work attitudes, general employability skills, fundamental knowledge and skills considered to be essential for successful entry into the industry. Most programs culminate with an industry certification that articulates to college credits.
