Industrial Biotechnology

This program offers a sequence of courses that provides coherent and rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare for further education and careers in the manufacturing career cluster; provides technical skill proficiency, and includes competency-based applied learning that contributes to the academic knowledge, higher-order reasoning and problem-solving skills, work attitudes, general employability skills, technical skills, and occupation-specific skills, and knowledge of all aspects of the manufacturing career cluster. Industrial Biotechnology is a program offering students science credit through an applied science education, to prepare them for entry level positions in the cutting edge industry of Biotechnology. While meeting the state standards for science, the coursework will focus on developing science and bio-technical skills that are current and in demand for this rapidly growing occupation. Upon completion of the integrated program, students will be able to explain and perform bio-technical skills used by Industrial, Medical, Agricultural, and Research facilities that develop and produce marketable products and processes.

Welding Technology Fundamental

This program offers a broad foundation of knowledge and skills to prepare students for employment in the welding industry.
